What Does Gratitude Mean To You? How Do You Show It?

December 10, 2018

As we move closer to the end of this year and prepare ourselves for 2019, how grateful do you feel?

Client gratitude … that’s what I thought this was going to be about … and it mostly is.

Gratitude to our clients. How do we show it? What does it means to us?

Yes … gratitude towards your clients and all those that support your business. This time of the year gives us all an opportunity to thank them with a message, a card, a lunch, a gift … whatever form you choose.

Here’s another thing … say thank you more often. Not just when its expected. Keep it soulful and honest … relate it first to business and then to life.

It’s so important to take a moment and look back. Look back with wonder and appreciation. By doing this you’ll have the mindset to move forward with an attitude of gratitude. Yeah, yeah, as much as that may sound like a cliche … it’s absolutely a truth.

Do you remember all the good and great events you participated in this past year?

… all the incredible clients that you served?

… all the new people that came into your life?

… all of the fabulous moments spent with your family and friends?

Do you remember, and are you grateful and thankful, for this life that is yours?

By now, most of us have taken care our our business ‘obligations’ which is not a good way to look at it. But that said, its now important to turn your thought to your personal connections … your family and friends. That’s the part of you life that balances the time you commit to business … all those long hours away from your family and social life (and by that I’m not talking about social media).

The magic part of this is to really ‘be’ with your family. If you’re clearing your calendar of business … clear you mind of business. Be with them. Maybe its only for a couple of days, maybe its for a week or two holiday and vacation time. What ever length of time … make it truly re-creation time.

This will serve you, your family and your business.

Ok that’s enough. Go have some fun. Enjoy your time.

Come back rested and ready for the New Year.

All the best from our team to you, your team, and your family.
